The view of animal tracks in snow and cardinals from the back window of Jeanne Fallier's home inspired this hooked rug reminder of winter days. As a child, Jeanne learned embroidery from her grandmother. She later found her calling in hooking rugs in the traditional fashion, using a hand hook to form a looped pile from fabric strips or yarn, on a burlap or linen backing. As she says, "I"ve been hooking for fifty years. It's the best therapy in the world."
